Afsheen has recently joined Life works as a Senior therapist/Case Manager. She has an MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) from Queens University of Belfast, UK and is currently working towards her BCBA qualification. She also passed her RBT exam (RBT-16-25672) in 2016 with the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB) b and is closely supervised by two experienced Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs). She has attended a number of different workshops on ABLLS (Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills) and AFLs (Assessment of Functional Living Skills) training. Besides this she has attended workshops on Rapid Prompting Method (RPM) and pivotal response training.

She also has experience of using K-12, an online homeschooling program to build academic skills for children with autism, ADHD and learning delays. Afsheen also holds an MBA degree (majoring in Finance) from Institute of Business Administration Karachi, Pakistan and has worked in the pharmaceutical and banking industries within finance, corporate banking and risk management functions for around 5 years.

Afsheen is extremely passionate about using ABA as an evidence based treatment to help children acquire new skills and modify socially significant behavior. She has experience of working with children of various ages and skill levels having Autism, ADHD and Developmental delays and is proficient in collaborating with families and other professional involved in developing and implementing intervention plans to benefit the child. She is dedicated and focused and holds this cause close to her heart due to her personal experience. Through her services she aspires to make a positive difference in the lives of these talented children and equip them with tools that would help them reach their their full potential and a productive happy life.
